FAB FCA Frisco Art T-Shirt Design Competition
Our amazing art teachers tell us that our Middle and High School students would like to have FCA Frisco art shirts! We thought, why not ask our FABulous art students to design the shirts? So we are launching a competition! A winning design will be selected for Middle School and one for High School. So come on, FCA Frisco Griffin artists, showcase your talents and let us see what you can do!

We will select one winning design from our 6th through 8th grade student entries for the Middle School shirts and one winning design from 9th through 11th grade student entries as the winning design for the High School shirts. Each winner will get to see their designs on our shirts AND each will receive a prize of a $25 gift card to spend as they choose – maybe on art supplies?!?
Competition Guidelines for Students:
All current FCA Frisco 6th through 11th grade art students can enter the competition. Students can enter as many designs as they wish to create!
Digital art work is permitted but all designs must be entirely the student’s own work. No copying third party or copyrighted materials.
Students can use up to 6 different colors in their design. Why not more? Because the more colors we incorporate the more expensive the designs will be to print.
Designs must be created on solid white plain paper. The maximum image size for a design is 11 inches in width and 15 inches in depth (designs can be smaller but not larger). Students can use any medium to create their designs - paint, markers, or whatever materials they prefer to us. Note: be sure the colors are CLEAR and BOLD. In order to recreate students designs on our T-shirts the images must be very clear - the bolder the better!
Students can submit original copies of their entries to Miss De Leon and Mr. Longoria for safe keeping. In addition, students must submit a high resolution image of their design (scanned high quality image or high quality photo image) via email to the FAB team via janesleeth@yahoo.com. Students should also provide their name, grade and age – NOTE students should NOT write this information on the front or back of their competition entries. The deadline for competition entries is Monday, November 29th. So there is plenty of time including Thanksgiving week for students to get creative!
Our esteemed judges will be Miss De Leon and Mr. Longoria.
Winning entries will be announced on Friday, December 3rd.

T-shirts will go on sale in December. All profits from the sale of the art department FAB T-shirts will go towards much needed paint and other art supplies for our Middle and High School art departments!
