Introducing drama at FCA Frisco

The 2021-22 school year saw the introduction of drama as a HS elective. The first public production, A Midsummer Night’s Dream was given in April at Hope Fellowship West.

The truly amazing Miss Eby our FCAF Drama Club teacher and the students put on a Jazz themed rendition of Shakespeare’s masterpiece that received rapturous applause and appreciation from the audience!

The goal of the Fine Arts Booster Club is to provide support for the drama club, finding volunteers to assist with production events, set building, costume making and more and also to fundraise to help pay for set designs, costumes, programs and all other production costs.

The first performances of the 2022-23 school year took place in December, on the 8th and 9th with our FCAF 10th grade students performing The Importance of Being Earnest. This was a truly spectacular production filled with mistaken identities, confused engagements, mischievous gentlemen, dictatorial women and lots of Bunburying!

Our April 2023 production will take place on April 20th and 21st when our HS students will be performing Much Ado About Nothing.

To find out more about ways to help with the drama program please contact our FAB Drama Director Alisa Hauser.
