Announcing The FCAF FABulous Spring Band Concert Fundraiser!

At the Spring Band Concert on April 29th the Fine Arts Booster Club will be holding a fundraiser. FAB are seeking donations towards the purchase of sheet music for the school band. Raising Cane’s have provided an awesome gift package for this event. The gift package, containing a large cooler, pens, soft toy, drinks cards, box meal cars, a fridge magnet, t-shirt, key chain and more is worth over $100! For every $5 donated you will receive one ticket for an entry into our FABulous draw giving you one chance per $5 donated to win this prize! So please, bring some cash – however much you think you’d like to donate! The more you donate the more chances you have to win!

Why are we raising funds for sheet music? Good question! Sheet music can be very expensive – from $50 for a beginner piece of music for band, to as much as $600 for a complete Beethoven Symphony. On average each piece of sheet music we use at FCAF for band costs $85. At our Spring Concert alone our 6th to 10th grade students will be performing 13 pieces of music! That’s a lot of dollars for sheet music for just one concert.

Our goal at FCAF is to build a comprehensive sheet music library. Sheet music is essentially the curriculum for our band. Our students need to be given the opportunity to play lots of different music and learn new pieces each year.

We need your help in raising funds to creat this sheet music library for our FCAF band. So bring some cash to the concert and support our fundraiser – plus, you might just win a great gift basket too!
