On Veterans Day FCA Frisco will be hosting an after school Veterans Day celebration and picnic concert for families of FCAF 7th through 10th grade band members and families. FCAF family members who are war veterans are also invited to attend this event. This celebration and concert will be held outdoors and will be socially distanced. Our in person 7th through 10th grade band members will be performing. Bring your picnics, lawn chairs and blankets. The event will begin at 5:00pm. Our headmaster Melanie Sharpless will introduce the event after which the American Legion, Peter J Courcy Post 178 Color Guard will perform the presentation of colors. The FCA Frisco Wind Symphony will perform the National Anthem and the songs of the American National Forces. Our guest speaker is Mr. Kenneth VanSwearingen. Following the Veterans Day celebration our FCA Frisco 7th Grade Symphonic Band will perform patriotic songs.

Kona Ice of Frisco are bringing their truck to this event. We thank them for their support - a portion of all proceeds will be donated to the FCAF Fine Arts Booster Club (FAB). We also wish to thank the Sunrise Rotary Club of Frisco for providing the flags and poles for this event at no charge. The FAB team together with some FABulous volunteers will be circulating with a special edition newsletter and anyone wishing to make a donation can do so in person at the event.
