Supporting Founders Classical Academy of Frisco’s fine arts students and educators.
Orchestra
Directed by Mr. Peart, the FCA Frisco Orchestra enables students to learn to perform on violin, viola, cello and double bass.
Band
Directed by Mr. Villareal, the FCA Frisco Band enables students to learn to perform on brass, woodwind and percussion instruments.
Visual Arts
The FCA Frisco Visual Arts program offers students instruction in multiple art styles, including drawing, painting and sculpture. In addition, thanks to the generosity of our FCAF families supporting FAB fundraising, for the 2022-23 school year HS students can take printmaking classes and MS students will experience screen printing.
Drama Club
The FCA Frisco Drama Program offers students the opportunity to participate in classical drama productions and learn the art of preparing for and managing productions.
In addition, HS Art program students can experience creating set designs and costume making.
From our first FCA Frisco Headmaster:
In a culture that is often times filled with vulgarity, the beautiful can direct us to what is good and true. Beauty found in art, drama, and music can not only be redemptive but transformative. Our souls draw nourishment from these things. A true classical education without a strong emphasis on the arts is incomplete.
Art, drama, and music are a reflection and expression of historical and cultural occurrences and a student will not understand a specific time and place without studying the arts, which is why we also include the history of art, along with theory and performance.

Music Is Elemental
Across cultures, generations, languages, and beliefs, music shapes our lives and creates endless possibilities to connect with others. Music broadens our horizons as human beings and allows us to explore new ideas, to fail, and then to try again. Music education stimulates, challenges, and enriches. It is a catalyst for personal growth—in academic performance, self-confidence and self-esteem, multicultural respect, social engagement, cognitive development, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Every child deserves the opportunity to explore this most elemental aspect of human existence. Every child benefits when they can make music part of their school day.
